Terms of use

The short version, then the details

Last updated November 8, 2026

SealCheck is a free matching service. We connect you with an independent local contractor for a free driveway check. We don't do the work, and any job you agree to is between you and that contractor. By using this site you agree to these terms.

What SealCheck is, and isn't

  • SealCheck is not a contractor and does not perform, supervise or guarantee any work.
  • Contractors are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. They set their own prices and terms, and they are responsible for their work, licenses, insurance and permits.
  • We ask every contractor to meet our partner standards, but we can't promise any particular result, price or schedule.

The free check

  • The check is free and there is no obligation to buy anything.
  • Any price you get comes from the contractor. If you hire them, sign or agree to their written terms, not ours.
  • We may not be able to match every request, for example if you're outside our area or no contractor has an open time.

Your request

  • Give accurate information and only request checks for property you own or are allowed to arrange work on.
  • If you agree to be called and texted, SealCheck and the contractor matched to you may contact you as described in our privacy policy. Reply STOP to end texts at any time.

Using the site

Don't misuse the site: no fake requests, scraping, attacks or attempts to get at other people's information. The site's content belongs to SealCheck; you may not copy it for commercial use.

No warranties

The site and the matching service are provided "as is." Information on this site about concrete and sealing is general and is not professional advice for your property. Ask your contractor about your driveway.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, SealCheck is not responsible for any contractor's work, products, prices, conduct or damage, or for indirect or consequential losses from using the site. Because the service is free to homeowners, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it.
